4 Things to Never Do While Brushing Your Teeth
October 17th, 2017 Aquarius Blog
Brushing your teeth — something you’ve been doing for years and years, but are you doing it right? A task that’s become so mindless can sometimes be easy to muddle. That’s why we’re here! To help make sure you’re not committing any of these “unacceptable” tooth brushing fouls.
1. Don’t skip step number one.
Brushing your teeth is actually step two. If you don’t know what step one is, you’re doing it wrong! Let us give you a hint… flossing! Make sure to loosen up all that plaque before you start to brush. It may add a few more seconds to your morning routine, but trust us — it’s well worth the effort.
2. Don’t let the water run.
We bet you’ve heard this one before, but really, it’s true! Allowing the water to run in between flossing, brushing and rinsing can waste a whole lot. And, as water conditioning and plumbing experts, we truly care about water conservation — and you should too!
3. Don’t brush in the shower.
You may think you’ve found a nifty way to save time, but while you may be saving time you’ll also be wasting water. Plus, it may not be the most hygienic option, and if you remember to floss first you could be putting your plumbing in danger of clogging. While we love to help our customers unclog, we know life’s better for them when clogs don’t arise in the first place!
4. Don’t rinse with subpar water.
I mean, you could… but why would you if you don’t have to? Our whole house water filtration systems can have every faucet in your home flowing with crisp, soft, filtered water. Why? Because we believe our customers deserve nothing but the best, even while brushing their teeth!
So, how do you stack up? If there’s any way we can help (*hint* – with water conditioning or plumbing services), don’t hesitate to give us a call!
